The Aragonese law firm Ilex Abogados has managed to develop a new technological model that is simple, with no added costs for their clients, and adapted to the new reality. It allows all their lawyers to advise and support their clients at any time and from anywhere in the world, even in the midst of a pandemic situation like the current one.
This digital initiative, which was presented on Wednesday, is a pioneer in Spain in the field of law, and has involved several Aragonese technology companies. As a result, the Ilex offices have been adapted, becoming secure rooms where communication takes place reliably and with complete privacy.
In addition, all their professionals have the technical resources available and have received the necessary training to carry out these technological functions and tasks, both at the office itself and at their homes or wherever they may be, in anticipation of future lockdowns.
In summary, "we have managed to bring a traditional sector like law to the next level and treat its clients in the same way they currently interact with each other — that is, within a fully digital society," explained the managing director of the law firm, José Antonio Visús Apellániz, with 33 years in the profession.
To carry out this change, Ilex Abogados worked with world-class companies such as Microsoft, while also supporting cutting-edge businesses in Aragon, including The Big Tech Experience, Posiciona Tu Marca and Siren Marketing.
Visús Apellániz stressed that "without their contribution this project would have been completely impossible," and added that "all these companies have made a great effort to push forward this first major transformation in the field of Spanish law, which opens a new era in legal services for anyone from a law firm."
