BIGMAT. New ecommerce space

Customers will be able to pick up online orders at the points of sale
in less than 4 hours or receive them at home within a maximum of 48 hours.

BigMat, the Distribution Group specialising in construction and DIY products and solutions for professionals and individuals, has developed a new ecommerce space. Through this space, which went live this week, customers will have access to an ecommerce tool through which they can shop and place orders, choosing whether to collect them in less than 4 hours from the BigMat point of sale of their choice across the Iberian Peninsula and islands, or, alternatively, to receive them at the address they specify within 24 to 48 hours.

BigMat's objectives with the launch of this new platform are, on one hand, to occupy its rightful place in the online market and, on the other, to attract and drive traffic to the physical points of sale of the Group's 330 locations with a multichannel approach, combining in-store sales, online reservations, R.O.P.O. and, above all, "Click & Collect". In short, with this new ecommerce space, BigMat achieves its Omnichannel objective, as it will be able to serve and assist its customers through all currently available sales channels.

The new space will feature new services and applications that have already been developed and will be incorporated into the website once tested, allowing it to evolve over time. These new services and applications will help BigMat provide its customers with a more comprehensive and seamless experience, transferring customer flows between its different assistance and sales channels, thus achieving a truly Omnichannel service delivery.

The new website and the ecommerce gateway were developed entirely by The BigTech Experience, a digital consultancy specialising in ecommerce and internet. Following the launch, The BigTech Experience consultancy will continue working for BigMat, supporting and developing the new web space.
